Victrix Plastic Miniatures
Early Saxon Unarmoured Warriors (36pcs) (28mm) VXDA016
This hard plastic set from Victrix contains 36 superbly detailed Early Saxon Unarmoured Warriors, perfect for depicting the migration-era invaders and settlers of Britain. These figures represent the Jutes, Angles, Danes, and Saxons who entered Britain during the 4th to 6th centuries, blending beautifully into Dark Age wargaming armies.
There’s a rich mix of head options — helmeted, bareheaded, and capped — as well as optional fur cloaks for added flair. The weapon selection includes swords, spears, javelins, axes, and Angons with socketed spearheads. You can equip them with either small bucklers or larger round shields depending on whether you’re building an early skirmishing warband or later shield-wall warriors.
These figures are versatile enough to be used as generic Dark Age Germanic warriors and can mix seamlessly with later Saxon and Viking sets. They’re also suitable for use alongside Victrix Late Roman miniatures in scenarios featuring mercenaries or enemies of Rome.
