History:
The Norman cavalry were among the most feared mounted troops of the medieval period, combining the chivalric traditions of Western Europe with influences from the Crusades and Moorish armies. These knights fought in full mail or scale armour and employed a variety of weapons from heavy lances to agile javelins.
