Victrix 12mm WWII Miniatures
Tiger I (6pcs) (12mm) VG12008
This set includes six superbly detailed 12mm (1/144 scale) Tiger I heavy tanks and a decal sheet featuring German crosses and red tactical numbers. These iconic tanks represent one of the most feared armoured vehicles of the Second World War.
Making its battlefield debut in Tunisia in 1942, the Tiger I was deployed across all fronts from 1942 to 1945. Its formidable 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun could eliminate Allied armour at extreme distances with precision, thanks to its flat trajectory, high muzzle velocity, and excellent optics. With frontal armour up to 120mm thick, it was a daunting adversary in tank engagements.
The Tiger’s great strength was offset by its heavy weight, which affected mobility, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Despite these limitations, its psychological and battlefield impact was immense, earning it a fearsome reputation among Allied crews.
